Vladimir & Estragon
Two shabby tramps, Vladimir (“Didi”) and Estragon (“Gogo”), wait by a bare tree on a country road for a mysterious Mr Godot, who never comes. To pass the time they talk, quarrel, make up, play games, think about hanging themselves, and meet the strange pair Pozzo and Lucky. Vladimir is the thinker who remembers; Estragon is earthier and forgets.
Nothing to be done.Ending: “Yes, let’s go.” (They do not move.)
